Sangiovese 95% Canaiolo5%. This is a modern style of Chianti; low in acidity with a pretty ripe fruitiness. Plum and dried herbs with a hint of leather are the main aromas and flavors, but I also got some chocolate, which is strange, as accodring to the web site, this is not barrel aged (retail $9.99)

Cherry and asphalt, with some pepper. Medium-light bodied. Pleasant to drink. Subtly rustic.
