  • Drinking well now. Still has a good fruit base, with cherry and some strawberry undercurrents. Finish is not long, but a very pleasant wine, even as a sipper.

  • I really enjoyed this bottle, and wish I had more. Interesting and elegant, but enough fruit to make it approachable to a wider audience. From my prior tasting note:

"A New World Bordeaux-style wine made in an Old World style. 60% cab, 20% cab franc, 20% merlot, and 13.9% alcohol. It is nice to buy a just-released wine (2011) that is ready to drink now. Restrained fruit of dried cherry is counterbalanced by some earthiness and dried spice. Interesting to drink by itself, but also similar to more brawny / earthy food friendly French / Italian blends."
