Similar to previous tasting note -- not quite as balsamic, but rather muddy. I am seriously concerned about what's going on with this wine. Cellared since original release.

Still some balsamic notes, although not as much as last March. Strawberry jam and dark plum fruit, rich texture, a hint of cocoa. Hopefully in a transitional phase and will recover earlier glory. Cellared since original release.

Medium ruby sliding toward deep ruby, pomegranate, truffle, powdered cherry, star anise, spice, and hints of stem on the nose, primary cherry driven fruit on the palate with hints of earth, soft tannins, medium plus acidity and driving mineralality, finishes with red berry fruit, a little beef steak, cherry, chalk and more
Note: good now but undoubtedly a long life ahead, my tn could have easily waxed on about the quality of the '10 vintage, how Bize is a super bargain, how I would love the chance to put this Savigny-lès-Beaune in a blind tasting with the biggies, but the reality is, if you don't already have this wine in your cellar, you're late to the party.
I felt like remembering Patrick Bize tonight and I couldn't have done better than this bottle. Medium-light in weight with the most silky of textures, pure red berry fruits, soy, length, purity, complexity -- just wow! Bize fans have long known that the wines from this estate could show up much grander appellations, and so it is here again. Cellared since original release.

Balsamic note that I hadn't found in previous bottles.
