  • Plenty of acidity, well integrated tannins with red fruits starting to fade a little. There are noticeable secondary characteristics including earth, mushroom and soot. A smokey note was very noticeable on the nose.

  • Clear, light ruby coloured. Red cherries, raspberries, rose, earth, mushroom and hints of liquorice on the nose. Light bodied, high acidity, medium (-) tannins. Smooth and elegant on the palate with cherries, earth and mushrooms. Long length. Lovely with our roast duck mains.

  • Popped & poured. 1 glass consumed, remainder in the fridge overnight. With roast shoulder of lamb (day 2). fairly good but straight-forward sour cherries on day one, but developed a lovely chocolate & earth dimension overnight. Acidity cut through the fatty lamb perfectly. A really enjoyable bottle.

  • Clear, pale ruby in the glass. Clean, light, fragrant and elegant nose with plenty of red fruits (strawberries, cherries) alongside summer floral notes and leather. It initially smelt like a gamey with the typical earthy Pinot Noir notes eventually developing with time. Dry with medium acidity and low to moderate tannins. Light bodied with elegant red fruits, spice and wet moss on the palate. Long length. An enjoyable bottle on a cold, wet evening.

  • Audouzed 2hrs. Smooth, round, fruity and very moorish. Gentle entry & spattered cherry body, with enough acidity to keep the young fruitiness in check without taking the fillings out of my teeth as I was expecting in such a young wine. A sophisticated & elegant mouthful that you don't have to wait 20 years to enjoy.
