Tasted blind. Dark purple in color. Blackberry, black currant, black pepper, vanilla and stemmy on the nose. Blackberry, black fruit and vanilla on the palate. Medium+ tannins. Finish is medium long, drying, of blackberry and earthiness. Incorrectly identified as a left-bank Bordeaux as I didn't get the fresh fruit typical of a Merlot.

Nose: OK we did not decant so the wine felt a little oaky and jammy, but still retains some bordeaux character with plum, pencil shaving and darf fruits.
Palate: Again, a little oaky but nonetheless quite interesting for the price. Nice splash of Plum and pencil shaving. The mid-palate is a little watery but the final is bone dry with quality tannins.
Lovely and very good QPR.

Still showing well. I plan to leave the last bottle for a decade to see how it ages but the two consumed did not disappoint. usual Cabernet.
