  • Great nose, full on dark, rich black and blue berry. At once very lush in character and full palate but after that I found it to be fairly one dimensional, lacking the backbone and earthiness of what, to me, makes mencia, mencia. Mild tannins, background acidity, nice round finish. Pleasant with strong cheese and some heavier sauces.
