Very dark purple. Smokey meat, herbs, and black fruits with depth and complexity. Held its own in a cab tasting that included heavy hitters from Cayuse, Dunn, and Caymus. In a good place right now but has at least 5 years left and probably more.

Gobs of fresh fruit and the youthful awkwardness of a younger wine. Has the touch of "green" on the nose that is my marker for so many WA wines. Two more years would've significantly improved this bottle.

(Dunham Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon XV Columbia Valley) An aromatic wine with spice box, cocoa, and red fruit. The palate has broad, restrained fruit flavors and is made in a refined style with enough tannins to lay down in the cellar for years to come. 100% Cabernet Sauvignon. Lewis, Phinny Hill, Wallula, and Double Canyon vineyards. Aged in French and American oak (65% new). 13.8% alcohol. 1,406 cases produced.

Beautiful wine. Very little green pepper. Oaky, smooth, mostly black but some red fruit. Very representative of Washington.
