Not sure this has moved on significantly since my previous note. Still relatively light and a touch austere, but with enough primary fruit to make things interesting. Perhaps a hint of development creeping in. A grippy, shortish finish rounds things out. Certainly a long way from past it.

Pleasant, slightly sweet nose. Very nice in the mouth - smooth, almost creamy. No obvious sign of development; the fruit is still there and the flavours are still sitting in the primary spectrum, although it is a fairly austere wine. Pretty grippy on the moderately short finish. Not a wow wine, but perfectly pleasant to drink.

May be past its prime. Very mineral driven and notes of mint. Needs some fruit to round out the body and finish. Paired with pesto crusted lamb ribeyes, which was a good pairing.

A competent wine all through. Not too exciting, drinkable. The next day, the tannin receded, unexpectedly revealing fruit that brought character. Very average, more enjoyable next day ! (A few more medium age wine experiences like this may prod me to bring out the decanters)

Medium red at the rim, no bricking - slight alcohol, plums and cedar on the nose. Medium to full bodied, this wine needed a colossal 3 hours in the decanter to open up, then the tannins retreated a little and the wine became less austere and slightly sweeter on the palate - just out of the bottle it was not a pleasant experience. Slightly hot on the finish, and a trifle muddy on the palate.
