2 years on and ...... Well it is hard to say. Have my tastes changed? Or has the wine plateaued? My conclusion is the former. The acid remains strong but the tannins have 'left the building'. The cloyey nature of the fruit is not a positive. I find it one dimensional and boring. A fine Syrah or Pinot Noir has so much more to offer and for longer. Perhaps the Bordeaux varietals no longer suit. Back to point 1.

Ruby red color. Red fruit on the nose, with some of the cab franc showing. Palate is more of the same with some spice, dark fruit and a little tobacco and roasted pepper; nice chewy tannins. Great value.

w/ small amounts of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc. aromas are rather mineral/iron laced, to say, 'a cab drinkers merlot.' red and black fruit palate, but not huge sweet fruit on the palate. nice bottle of wine.
