Since the last time I tasted this, the wine has developed a very nice boysenberry/blackberry note on the finish that it seems to me has replaced a muted alcoholic fogginess (if that makes any sense) that had exerted itself at the back of the palate previously (I think that was the 'burnt rubber' referred to by another taster). Definitely getting better with age.

Good ripe fruit, but not a whole lot of other character, other than some distracting burnt rubber. Ok for $13 in PA, but nothing I'd rush to try again.

Balanced, interesting flavors - subtle berry, earth, some leathery gaminess. Not spectacular, but nice old world charm.
