Upon opening it tasted very acidic and coarse. Aerated and let the bottle sit for an hour and the wine transformed to a beautiful, lighter, smooth, fruitful wine with strawberry/ cranberry flavors. Expect it to continue to age nicely but needs to breathe now.

This is drinking spectacularly. Didn't take formal TN last night, but here are my impressions. I decanted for about 30 minutes before pouring a glass. Nose was mostly fruit, mountain raspberry and maybe some baking spice. Palate was lithe, energetic, and long. It had finesse and the right amount of concentration. I drank the bottle too quickly to see it do any more development (over about 2 hours) but it delivers classic bright grenache flavor profile with a little backbone from the syrah to give it more structure. I couldn't tell the Mourvedre was there so it may have just given this a tad bit of weight. Excellent, and probably the best Mayo wine I've had to date.
