This might be called our "summer of rose." During this summer my wife and I have drunk about 13 different rose wines from all parts of the world including France, Spain, Portugal, East and West Coast United States, and Australia. This Sheldrake Point is, perhaps, our favorite. It has a darker pink color than many. Though dry it has an amazing depth of fruit with little bitterness. The flavor is nicely balanced and the wine is easy to drink. We have tried it both at refrigerator temperature and at room temperature -- I think someplace in between would provide the best flavor profile.
