Smoky, brett-infused, earthy, gamey...the palate follows with smoky, meaty, nicely rich wine - medium bodied. Balanced with tangy acidity - nice structure. Feels northern rhone in style...Surprisingly good, considering my mixed past with Bonny Doon's wines...solid wine, good price.

(Bonny Doon California Syrah) Lovely fresh and clean fruit on the nose, with good raspberry fruit and some pleasing aromatic notes, I feel reflecting the inclusion of Viognier (as well as Mourvèdre and Cinsaut) in the blend. There is a touch of elegance on the palate, with orange oil and blossom notes complimenting the clean raspberry and blackberry fruit. I like this one.
