Stunning dark crimson robe; body medium, tending to full; mouth-filling rich, elegant dark fruit flavours, already fading a little, but plenty of life left, this is a Pinot made in the rich California style but with real staying power, showing its Anderson Valley pedigree.

Wonderful wine. Blind would have struggled to identify as a Cali Pinot. More Syrahesque with dense black chewy fruit resolving to a substantially long smokey finish. Not as mid palate complex as I'd normally demand with this high of a rating however the total package is delicious & fully deserving.

Invigorating single vineyard Pinot Noir from Golden Eye that's layered, complex and refined. Warm mahogany color with tempting aromas of smashed Oregon blueberries floating in the air. Profound mix of flavors revealing plum pudding, cherries jubilee and wild berry. Free flowing and enchanting this glides to a polished and compact finish highlighted by a splash of earth. Continued to maintain integrity the following evening and on the third and last night of enjoying this wine a black cherry cola element emerged. Probably was best younger and at $70, there are numerous other Pinot Noir's out there I'd rather of spent the money on. Drink up

Excellent. Explosive aromas of black cherry, wild berry, flowers, and spice carry over into the mouth, where the flavors fan out across the palate with a wavelike rush. Opulent and dense. Finishes with a blast of creamy, spicy oak. Based on other bottles consumed, this seems to be at its' peak, drink up.

One of the best Pinots I have ever had. Dark garnet color with an explosion of cherry, spice, and floral aromas; clean, glassy from smooth tannins, and wonderfully balanced blend of dark cherry, spice, and even a hint of coffee. Delicious!
