Blind tasting. Nose hyper fruity, velvety , attractive. I' had a presumption of a sweat and seductive wine after this smell. Mouth syrupy, with extracted fruits, and some residual sugar. The wine is lacking structure. Few acidity or tannins. It is flabby. Not well made. Two sip are enough to understand that there's no character behind this feminine attraction. Not my taste at all.

I was told not to keep this wine too long: 5-6 years at best. But I regret I did. This last bottle is by far the best and I think it is mature now and could be kept for 4-5 more years. Well, should have been able to conclude this before the last bottle. Now it has the typical Pinot nose, taste harmonious, red and black fruit -not too much in the front-, medium body, spicy, some earthy tones, velvety, some complexity, tannines and acid in balance, drinking easy.

Dark ruby color. Floral nose with dark cherry, spice some earth. Similar on the palate. Velvety and luscious with good density of fruit, almost Oregonian in style. Nice tannic structure. Good length. Balanced and paired well with risotto and dried porchini.

Niet zo complex. Mooie volle wijn, niet zwaar. Wel typisch pinot noir.
