Initially popped and poured, and, while the wine was pleasant enough, the body was thin and the fruit was underwhelming. Vacuvin, then checked back in 24 hours, 58 F...Black and white shake on the nose, blackberry fruit, touch of smoke. Soft vaguely velvety tannins, no noticeable heat, light acidity. Medium body. Slightly tart blackberry and black currant fruit on the palate, dried oak notes with hints of sweet vanilla. A bit flabby. Short finish. Edit: On the 2nd day, after a few more hours of air, this wine finally started to come around and show itself as a more typically Napa cab, with more velvety tannins and assertive black fruits, just as we were finishing the bottle. A few more years of age should help, but pretty much a generic Cali cab at this point, unless you are willing to go for an extended decant.
Nice wine. Nice nose - red/black mix. Mouthfeel was a touch thin, finish was a touch short. Punches above its weight for $40, but I don't think it will be confused for the "secret" wine it's supposed to be.

Not for the cellar. Started as a 91-92 and clearly falling apart into 87-89 territory. Will be generous and give 90.
Splash decant for 5-10min, then into Glasvin Prestige. Followed for 2h.
Nose is quintessential Napa Cab. Luscious dark and black fruits, sexy integrated oak, super smooth and inviting. Palate is very velvety in mouthfeel and glides integrated fruits and oak across the palate. Finish represents that as well. Not a ton of structure from tannins or acid, and a hint of RS that is holding things together.
This was delicious for the first 30min, then it started to fall apart. I noticed the same about the regular Yesterday wine as well. Not sure how this is averaging 92+ from CT. Clearly has telltale signs of being flabby. Not a "Reserve" by any stretch. If you want to pop and pour something that will be delicious from the get go, this is it.
Drink now with a splash decant. Do not hold.

A very tasty, though not very structured, Cabernet.

Blasted cherry with lots of heft on the palate, some vanilla on the finish with smooth tannins. Going strong on day two, cherry and ink.
