Bought at the winery eleven months ago. Served at 64°
Nose of black cherry in the decanter prior to the forty minute decant, then black cherry, dried herbs, a little crushed gravel on the nose. Some viscosity on the glass but no legs. Medium purple. Smooth, soft, off dry at best (definitely some sweetness from the fruit). Palate of blackberry bramble, raspberry, crushed gravel with medium acidity, very soft tannins.
If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and visit this lovely vineyard. They have a wonderful outdoor tasting area which overlooks the vines. Truly beautiful.
I’m not used to spending $46 for a bottle of wine, but I have to say, this bottle is worth it. Really delicious. Did not have with food.

Another well done Still Waters wine. I still prefer Victor Hugo Zin from this AVA.
