It is a decent wine from the Coombsville AVA in a year of utter failure. That said it is a much better wine than the vintage might reveal. I get no smoke whatsoever. The wine is weak from a "powerhouse standpoint" and more reserved and delicate than I would have expected. I am getting coffee bean as the label suggests, plum skin and some cranberry. Finish is cedar wood driven with creaminess making the primary finishing note.

Boysenberry, cocoa and spice. What fun!
