Very fruit forward on Day 1, more subdued on day 2 with concentrated blackberry, black currant, some menthol, light tobacco, firm but soft tannins, medium finish. Seems to have good potential for much greater complexity with some age, though enjoyable now.

2 hrs slow ox in the bottle. Syrupy, jammy nose. Not as Jami on the pallet as it was during my last tasting, but it's definitely a mix of blackberry, astringency, and acid.
Once again, it and performs, it's $28 price point on sale, but there are plenty of European wines I'd rather have at the same price point.

Coravin glass. Vibrant dark fruit and young oak on the nose (more like oak wood chips.)
First sip has an astringent, pucker effect front palate and a bit of eucalyptus mixed in with black cherry and blackberry. A decent wine that should be good with a bit more time in the glass, it certainly punches above the $28 paid. Curious to check on this when I finally pull the cork.

There is green and vegetable smell that is little too bothering to me.

Also robust Napa Cabernet, with a little bit of juicy fruit to the mid palate. Good structure on the back.
