Outstanding zin! Rich and deep red fruits with blackberry and spice plus unsweetened chocolate notes on the finish. It shows no trace of its 15.5% alcohol. This is the most port-like Ridge I can recall. It shows no sign being too old.

4th Saturday Group brown bagger (Our house): What a stark contrast to wine B...aromas of cherries, ripe boysenberry and raspberry. Ripe black fruit on the palate without the pruny raisiny qualities of the preceding wine. This remains ripe and fruit-driven, yet balanced and pleasurable. Lengthy finish with dark fruit and pepper. Another that was easy to identify as Zin.

Red & black fruits compose a wonderful full body balanced by good acid. Detectable alcohol on the palate, definitely a ripe wine. Drinking well now.

Fruit still there but fading. Still very enjoyable and drinkable. Drink up soon.

37th Annual Zinfandel Retrospective - the 2010s (R&D's): Aromas of raisin, red fruit and herbs. Flavors of red fruit, plum and raisin with hints of pepper in the finish. A bit more ripe and raisiny than I care for.
