Boy this was good. Not sure how to describe this other than extremely well balanced with a long finish that did not become bitter. I'd use the term buttery, but not to imply the over-oaked buttery characteristic of many California Chardonnays, but to describe the silky richness, balanced in acid note to this wine. It's very complex and ust really good!

(Rusack Chardonnay) #3; COLOR-golden; NOSE-some oak and butter action; very smoky and a lot of wood coming through; PALATE-interesting flavor profile on the attack; a little lighter than I expected; the acidity is pretty high and sharp which I like; the alcohol is coming through little for me (but I drink it warm); some interesting white flower and white peach coming through; finishes creamy with a little butter, but more fresh and vibrant than many Cali Chards; doesn't blow me away, but a solid wine for $22 bones; WE-94; GV-87

Better than the last one I had. This is incisive and slightly biting, forward, and zesty but showing some body and length. Nice stuff.

A crisp, slightly tart style. I was hoping for something richer. Pretty good for the price.

Drank with Max & Juliet - medium oak, with a slight green apple flavor, and drinking perfectly for a Friday night.
