Again, deep old gold to amber in colour with a greenish tinge. Smells quite mineraly, developing in to orange rind on the nose and after an hour or so this is very citrus and scented and blind I'd think it an icewine - really expressive and ripe and giving the impression of sweetness. Seville orange. Curious but fascinating. On the palate it's quite dense, a sense of viscosity, mineral and a touch of burrey hazlenut. Similar to previous bottle, though the whole icewine thing is new to this one. Hard to describe, but it went very well with pork in a cream, cider and mustard sauce. Lovely. ****

Very deep alomost amber old-gold in colour. Hmmm. Smells ok though and indeed, tastes ok too. Decanted an hour before drinking. Each glass needs to warm up from fridge temp for this to show at its best - about 16º seems to work well. Rich, viscous attack and mouthfeel, very mineral with nice weight and good length. A faint butter and nuttiness to it but its mainly about clean, mineral flavours and intense almost oily texture. Vey nice. Following it over the evening, it could have done with decanting for a couple of hours and it opened up and rounded out further with air as well as with warming up in the glass. ***1/2

Surprising fresh and youthful for the age. Some yellow flower, pear citirus notes, very enjoyable.
