This wine was great tonight. Upon opening, deep nose of red fruit from the bottle. Let sit and slow ox for several hours. First pour was smooth and almost a creamy texture - tannins and acid were well integrated with soft fruit flavors. With the sirloin we cooked, it sang. Great balance, and red fruit, with just enough tannin to cut through the red meat. A really nice showing, and a wedding year wine to boot.

Deep, deep, ruby, opaque core..full body cedar, oak, blueberry pie, needed 30 minutes of air to come together and soften. Finishes with typical notes associated with Cab Franc and/or Petit Verdot, not sure of the blend %. Drink now. 90.

Drank three bottles over a three month period. Consistent, however the wine seems to be fading and should be consumed soon.

Beautiful wine. Very enjoyable but missing that wow. Drank at a wine dinner but was blown away by a 2007 Levy & McClellan Ampersand.
