Cellared. Dark, opaque maroon/burgundy. Took about 20 minutes to settle. After it opened up, brambles/tayberries, sage and rosemary on the nose. Rich and vibrant on the palate, with berries and chocolate coming through. Hint of residual sugar? Clean finish that stays true.

Very enjoyable and still needs about 45 minutes to open up and find it's balance. Black and blue fruits with loads of star anise. Tannins start dry but turn velvety with a structured backbone. Finish is shorter than I would like, but overall very pleasing wine. At or near peak now.

Well balanced and easily approachable, this wine delivers. Decanted 30 minutes. Very aromatic nose of black fruit and cherry and a great balance of acidity mid pallet. Long slightly drying finish. Should cellar for a number of more years.

This bottle may have been damaged. At first I just thought it was tight and needed some air but after about an hour I noticed some black rubber on the nose and a burned coffee taste. Put it away for another night and it had smoothed out but there was no sign of the fruit.

Nice Rhone style red led by 55% Grenache. Bright red fruits. Paired with sausage and lentils.
