Golden yellow. Citrus notes on the bouquet. Medium bodied, vibrant, spicy and tart. Alcohol is contained for the most part. Could use mote malolactic fermentation or aging.

PnP; i've been drinking a lot of leaner Chards lately and was afraid this would be too heavy and flabby for me. It ended up being a pretty enjoyable wine, with enough acidity to pair well with dinner. Some pear, stone fruit, vanilla and slight oak, and good enough acidity to support a scallop risotto dinner. But for the money, I would look to Mt. Eden or Ramey instead.

Tropical fruit & apple on the nose. Sweet fruit & round mouthfeel is the initial impression. Nicely balanced though the finish was just a bit short. The wine showed best in 2013. It was smooth & crisp without being acidic. Lots of flavor (apple, pineapple and a bit pof butterscotch) with a moderate long finish. [92] then, [90] now.

Golden straw in color. A more typical California Chardonnay for me. The acidity was there but so were the oak and malo influences. Not great QPR and style for me even though I am a huge ME fan.

10 year old Russian River Chardonnay. Beautiful nose with notes of pear nectar.
Medium viscosity, pear nectar with hints of apricot, good balance and ample acid. Wonderful wine
