Balanced and lively, with one foot in Sonoma (ripe peach and apple blossom) but showing elements of a French chard with some citrusy steely acidity. Holding up well.

Pear on the nose. Very crisp on the palette, with apple and lemon/lime flavors. Also minerality.. Over time, it showed subtle oak, but never showed the "typical" buttery California chardonnay qualities. Agree that it is more Burgundian. This was a gift. Usually do not buy chardonnay in this price range and was not sure what to expect.

Sweet, BIG, Cali chard, with lots of toasty oak, vanilla, and a long finish. Served chilled it was clean, medium bodied, a little heavy on the palate but still a predictable glass of wine. I couldn't find as many acids (and any minerality whatsoever) as other reviews, still the wine was balanced and enjoyable so they must have done something right.

RMAPOU'S tasting note described this Chard perfectly. Very nice and a good buy at $25.

Crisp, lots of oak and light on the butter. Lovely, mature.
