This is the best 2 Buck Chuck Sauvignon Blanc yet. The several 2011's we tried had an artificiality with both the nose and the fruit flavors. This 2012 offering has a precise delineation of flavors combined with a very close to dry crispness, that belies it's almost ridiculous price point. The color is a Chardonnay like rich golden. The nose is surprisingly Old World with shale infused, spiced, honey. The fruit is very peachy with apricot and brown spice. I think the acid may have been poured out of a 50# bag. Dry lemon and peach finish. I realize that 2 Buck Chuck comes from a different batch almost every day. I'm just glad to have had the chance to taste one of their better batches.

Not bad. Nice, tart taste with floral scents.
