Very typical of this particular wine. the oak always makes it somewhat unique among pinot gris, a nice change-up. But don't put it away in the fridge for 5 days. Not really drinkable after that much time after opening. Not a surprise but I was hoping it might still be okay - it wasn't. My fault, not the wine's fault (or the winemaker's) - I forgot it was there.

Pale yellow. Nice aromas. Tasted over two nights. Tried at different temperatures. Lots of glycerin and mineral notes. Good complexity. Not as aromatic compared to my previous tasting

Had at an Oregon wine tasting. Light yellow. Fresh, crisp, more going on here than most Pinot Gris. The very light touch of oak does add some creaminess and complexity.

Outstanding Dundee Hills Pinot Gris. Lemon pith, lemon/lime cream, some tartness along with some smooth edges, nice acidity and a medium finish. Somewhat complex for a pinot gris with layers of citrus, rounded out by the barrel fermentation.
