Scent: Oak, dark cherries and raisins. Taste: A lot of oak, dark cherries and I would say arrak. The wine was better without food, because vanilla was more less the only flavour with food and I did not like that at all.

Wet soil and berries on the nose. No tannins but some dominant acidity at opening. After two hours decanting the typical amarone style came through better. Bold, some complexity not too sweet. Nice.

It is oaky and spicy on the nose with brandied cherries. Full-bodied with chewy tannins, more dark fruit, vanilla, a bit of green and cocoa on the finish. Judging by the structure here I don't expect much more development from cellaring.

Pnp very oaky, especially on the nose. Decanted for 2 h. Lost some oakiness. A bit of VA. Prune, dried cherry, cedar, violet. Tight, quite tannic and not integrated. Needs more cellar time.
