91p lukt av tuberpse. Ettersmak av grapefrukt (det hvit skinnet). Hint av fersken. Lukt av passkontroll frukt. Vel-balansert toaster nuts og beinet smør.

This might be one of my new favorite California Chardonnays. Light pale yellow color immediately tells you this is built in a Burgundian style and not overdone. Fresh, vibrant, crisp with just a kiss of oak.

Drink this at or near cellar temp for the best results - it's pretty closed on the nose and the fruit shuts down on the palate when it's cold out of the fridge. Once it warms up to cellar temp, on the nose there are stone fruits, mineral, lemon, and chamomile - and some tropical notes (papaya, cantelope, honey). On the palate, the wine at first seems to be lacking acidity or other structure - feels a bit flat and thin in the mouth, but then it opens up on the back end with some sappiness and a very long and tasty finish. There are a lot of savory notes to go along with the fruit.
