Strong reduction on the nose of perilla/toasted seaseme. Tried again the next morning, it blew off a little, but still there, revealing more lemon, white blossoms, and some vanilla.
On the palate, the weight was really nice. Very well integrated palate. Great QPR for the price, but I found the nose to be quite aggressive on the reduction.
I found Jancis Robison's note on this quite accurate: "Quite big and bold but with lots of youthful acidity too. A slightly mealy, occluded nose and with perceptibly more body than the village wine."

Pale yellow-gold with green tint. Lemon, mandarin peel, hazelnut, white flowers, cedar, honeycomb, yellow peach, apricot, oyster shell. Medium-full bodied, medium-high acidity, medium-high structure, medium alcohol and long citrusy finish. Complex, elegant, layered and well-balanced. Slightly viscous on the palate. Good weight with lift. A fantastic effort from Rully.

High acidity, very fresh style, peach, lemon, white flowers, elegant use of oak, yellow apple, very good. My last bottle of this vintage.

Fresh, good acidity. Apple notes on finish. Some oak, but not too much to dampen the freshness. Wish I bought more at that price

Dureuil always deliver! Yellow fruits, good acidity, a lot of tension and energy, well integrated oak.
