Base 2020, disgorged Jan 2023. My first taste of this cuvee after being impressed with Heroine. I think this is the first champagne from this domaine that was producing harvest thru bottling by the new ownership. Bottled with just 2g/l. Pours a very pale gold, offering sweet lemon butter cake, shortbread, a touch of cream, and a lovely soft structure. A fresh and dynamic BdB, and one I'm happy to have in my cellar.

Day 1: good, but a little out of balance. Recorked half the bottle and returned to the refrigerator. Day 3: Big step up from day 1. More depth and the nuttiness had a savory richness. I wouldn't open these until 2028+. 92+.

Base 2020. La Rogerie, a new producer under my radar, good friends of Selosse and uses Selosse barrels. Similar style to Selosse, slightly oxidative and hints of sherry smell that Selosse have. Expressive and ripe array of Chardonnay fruits from Avize, ripe citrus, stone fruits and apples with smart undertone of oak toast. Nice purity and intensity. Not cheap nor easy to find, but supposedly there will be more volume next year. (90-91/100)

Base 2020, 2023 disgorged. This is lovely with nice freshness and white fruits. A bit discreet at first but showed more depth over 1 hr open. Good now
