  Wow a very nice syrah from Cortona Italy. Varietal nose soft tannins and avery full body finish. Went well with ravioli in tomato sauce. Had at the Osteria del Teatro in Cortona Itally.

  Toasted spices of star anise, clove and pepper, ripe plums and licorice on the nose. Palate is fresh and clean, showing good length and purity of flavours. Medium-bodied mid-palate. Transition to the finish is somewhat edgy for now. Need time for the elements to settle down. Wait for at least 3 more years.
