  • Delicate lemon and fresh baguette on the nose, and the palate balances tree fruit (green apple aplenty) with citrus, maybe some very light florals and watermelon. The finish has some kind of funky flavor to it, can’t quite put my finger on it, and a slight pecorino cheese note emerges on the nose over time, along with acetone. I’m not sure whether I’d call these “off notes,” but they’re definitely iffy for some, although I enjoyed. That being said, the acidity is pronounced and quite pleasant and fruity, it’s the acidity of crispy green apples. This would go so well with a croque-monsieur.

  • This one really needed to open up. Decant. Grapefruit, exotic fruits, toasted almonds, earthy minerals. Not oaky like a Rioja, but still a nice touch. A good quality wine, although not entirely to my personal taste
