Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • Tasted double blind. Brief note. Pours a deep golden yellow in the glass. Nose and palate are very intense and lively showing bitter acacia honey and sweet roasted almonds, baked golden apples, caramelized lemon, very distinct orange blossom and soft chalky minerals. Great acid pierces through the zesty and almost oily textured midpalate driving this to a long, layered and complex finish that just keeps dealing the goods. Guessed early 90's high end 1er cru Meursault. Lovely stuff.
