  Drank with Bayard at LPM. Nice nose with a bit of barnyard. Not overly aromatic but nice bottle for the price.

I've had some mediocre experiences with some older bottlings ('98 Clos Vougeot rings a bell) but this producer's more recent vintages have just been great. And at $18 a bottle for a really nice bottle of pinot? What's not to like? Certainly drinking well now, I'm sure it will withstand some bottle age, but I'm not seeing the upside with more than a few years in the cellar.
