Just shy of excellent, yellow in color, while the wine is not overly fruitful just a bit of melon, there are deep flavors of minerals, dry toast and almonds, the finish is long and improves as the wine gets closer to room temperature. It is far from finished but I would not sit on this wine for too many more years.

This is a great wine. A little cloudy in color, the bouquet is full of tropical fruit. Lots of fruit on the palate, and a very long aftertaste. The kind of Chard that just leaves me wanting more.

Deep golden color and a moderate nose of toast and spice - surprisingly not much fruit. The palate is rich and full-bodied with lots of toast and butter, as well as rich pear and melon - very smooth. Medium long finish. While this is clearly well-made, it lacks some freshness and elegance to my mind, and considering how much I enjoy Chasseur's Pinots, this did not quite measure up. I'd describe it as a bit shy of outstanding, but if you dig rich, pure, velvety Chards with substantial oak, you may rate it higher than I.

Fantastic wine. Full of fruit and well balanced. Nice well oaked in the end. Truly a big Chardonnay

Past it's prime, fruit is lacking clarity, insufficient acidity
