Monday Night Blinds - Michael and Ousi (Home (Noe st)): (blind) M+ Ruby with some purple. Reductive nose, intense black fruit, slightly confected - perhaps hints of oak. Slight peach - underripe fruit. Ripe attack - possible slight RS Medium plus body high alcohol - 14.5% High acid - possibly acidified Medium tannins.
Full bodied new world reds with slight reduction.
Aussie Shiraz - acid is a bit high Malbec - oak seems too much. Zin - color is too dark, but the other stuff fits. Aussie grenache - acid too high.
Final: Based on the ripeness and high acid, I'm going with Zin:
2013 Zinfandel, Sonoma County
Final: 2010 Balinard Vineyard - Bluxome Street Vineyard Pinot RRV! This feels way over-extracted and over-ripened for a pinot.
