Flat out singing Wonderfully balanced, soft fruits and tannins, long finish. Minimal oxidation, still bright ruby Floral nose with a touch of strawberry Mouth is darker fruit with allspice, a tip-of-the-tongue sweetness, and a drying finish. And I’ve not even had dinner yet. No decant; will amend if needed.

Color is still brilliant, nose shows earth and spices, especially anise and allspice Fruit is more subdued, with balanced acid and firm and persistent tannins. Fairly consistent with my last bottle of almost two years ago. May have reached its plateau, but it’s not fading at all

Light, clear, garnet color with no bricking. Fresh loam anise in the nose. Nice stone fruits, leaning toward cherries and plums, some leather and tobacco and solid acid. Tannins are present, but subdued. Drank after a two hour decant and with a slow-cooked red sauce, meatballs, and linguine. Let the lockdown continue!

Really muted nose. Working at it reveals some leather and flowers. Acid and tannins are high, but the flavour disappears quickly and shortens the finish. Not sure if time will improve it but I'll try again in 5
