Mildly sweet wine with a very pale yellow color and a bouquet and flavor that was oddly green and weedy, as well as vaguely nutty. The weakest of the four Sheldrake Point Rieslings tasted. The winery is right on the edge of the waters of Seneca Lake in the beautiful Fingers Lakes Region of New York. We got to meet Pinot, a female black and white cat, who was very friendly, but not her partner Noir, who stayed hidden, his usual custom.
