Wow! This is getting much better with some cellar time. It still has the nice deep red color. A nose of fresh cherries and cinnamon sticks. Notes of bacon, tobacco and Marmite on the smooth palate. A medium-length, smooth finish of leather, oregano and Marmite.

The rich fruit has become less prominent as this wine has aged and the acidity has softened. This is an interesting perspective on Malbecs. It has matured nicely, and was thoroughly enjoyable.

Similar to Alamos but seemed a bit more concentrated, yet lacked some balance due to the alcohol seemingly present.

Strong cherry beginnings. Smooth with a tannic finish. A good wine. Paired well with a grilled steak, Worth getting more bottles.
