Boston Wine & Poker, Brookline, NH: Tasted blind. This was paired with the 2004 vintage, and I would never peg them as the same wine. While the 2004 had everything that I love about Napa cabernet, this had some of the characteristics that I like less -- a lot of vanilla, and a degree of sweetness. The 2019 has less tannin than the 2004, so it is already much more drinkable than one might expect, and some of the sweetness and vanilla might become less evident with age. From Michael C.'s cellar.

Rich and savory, with dark fruit and a long finish. Even better the next day.
