  drank 1 hour after decanting. Very, very fragrant and elegant, with notes of sweet cherries. Tannins were now silky but the wine still had body and wasn't light by any means. After 2½ hours in the decanter the wine was still very nice and fragrant, but now had some toasty notes along with some leather.

  Dark red, dark berry earthy nose, concentrated fruit on palate, still some sweetness, smooth mouthfeel, has some port-like character now, medium long finish. Nothing subtle about this wine and not everyone's cup of tea for sure but we enjoyed it with dark roasted chicken.

  Not a Pinot for the faint of heart!! Hugely concentrated, loaded with super ripe red and black fruits, almost port like. Still youthful. Lacking the complexity of other vintages of this cuvee.

  Dark red color, mixed raspberry & blackberry nose, dense dark berry fruit, earthy spice, smooth mouthfeel, medium length fruit finish. The highly extracted fruit has lost a lot of its original sweetness over the years.
