One wishes that they would just get rid of the meaningless reserve designation. Fairly faint chardonnay fruit notes on the nose. Candied apple on the nose too. Crisp, punctual on the palate. But also dull and leaves you searching for flavor. Maybe it is a bit too young? More cinnamon notes on the second run through. Solid enough at $14.

Excellent, beautifully balanced wine. Smooth apple, pear, and citrus aromas and flavors. Oak-kissed finish (50% of juice spends 2 mos. in French oak). Rich without being woody, and luscious without too much cream. Retains its freshness. Very nice.

Wine Enthusiast Toast of the Town. Not like the old Chardonnay, this one is medium body, simple, tasty, and reasonably priced.
