  Ise of Jura Tasting (Chicago, Illinois, USA): Medium-light gold color. Sweetly malty nose, with some exotic fruit aromas, lychee, lemon candy, a vaguely salty maritime aroma, and some winey/grapey scents. The palate enters with a piquantly fruity and woody note. This becomes somewhat mute at midpalate before perking up with vague butterscotch and some green grape flavors, along with a slightly woody note towards the back of the tongue. Finishing abruptly, this is lightweight throughout the palate. This is meant to be aged in ex-bourbon American Oak barrels and finished in Oloroso Sherry casks, but I'm not picking up strong influence from either. This is just OK, not quite as good as I remember the former standard 10 year old bottling being a few years back.

Un Single Malt de cette qualité à ce prix provenant, vous ne pouvez pas passer à côté. Plaisir garanti ou argent remis. Ce whisky est un excellent moyen de partir tranquillement la découverte des îles écossaises...
