  When I smell this wine I am reminded of a soccer mom, alone in her kitchen, her husband is away on a "business trip" and the kids are in bed. The taste of this wine makes her forget that her husband is enjoying his mistress' blonde locks in place of her mousey brown hair. The aroma pleasantly replaces the smell of the grass-stained soccer balls in her light grey SUV. All together, a pleasant, smooth wine that makes her want to rage shop in the morning for two more bottles.

  Outra excelente garrafa, taninos equilibrados, frutas no nariz e na boca, final seco e persistente.

  Um pouco duro no começo, equilibrado entre alccol e taninos. Apos 30 minutos apresenta grande evolução, redondo e gastronomico.

  On the pop, I got a face full of cherries and ripe strawberry. A little bit of Windex or cough syrup too. Nice color. The initial mouthfeel was very smooth although the mid palate and finish got a little more astringent. The red fruit flavors opened up and the finish had some length to it. We'll see how it is after about an hour and how it pairs up with an eggplant, olive, and garden vegetable lasagna. Update: the alchohol blew off fairly quickly although the actual pairing was controversial. I almost preferred the wine on its own due to a bitterness perhaps brought out by all the veggies in the lasagna. That said, the tendency to start smooth and end a little roug stayed with this wine to its detriment.
