This was the second bottle I had. The other was a year ago. I remember the one a year ago quite vividlym since it was at new years, I had it with friends. That bottle was relatively dark and quite some body and texture to it. A lot of mature fruit, I remember. The current bottle, is best decribed as "docvin" did a couple of days ago: Rather complex nose of red fruit, earth/light oxidation and leather (I didn't get the tobacco and fermente fruit, though). On the palate rather light and elegant, but not at all complex. Nonetheless, very pleasant accompanying a slow-cooked deer stew with risotto.

Has not quite evolved the extra "umf" I had hoped for...yet!! Complex nose of red fruit, earth leather and tobacco - also a rather disturbing note of "fermented fruit"?? Mouthfeel is light and elegant and not as complex as the nose. Give it a few more years. 89+

Elegant aroma of ripe cherries, cured meat, fresh herbs and a scent of raspberries with well integrated oak. Fine balance between acidity and tannins with flavors of cherry, pomegranate with a peppery finish. Drinkable now but will be capable of 3-4 years in the cellar.

Developed nicely in the glass. Spicy, fruity and "zoological" nose - . Lovely black fruits, earth, spice and little tobacco. Good tannins, firm grip. Long length. Wait another 2-3 years for full value.
