Can not agree more with previous note. Acidity with thin fruit is not going to keep me coming back for more. A little smoke and cherry here but did not fulfill my hope of a great QPR.

Watery red fruit with enough acidity to be better with food. No idea how I got to 90 points on this last time and B. W. doesn't love it anymore either. And don't ask me any stupid questions like "How can a watery wine have acidity?" I don't know. I don't know anything about Burgundy and I need to stop trying. I ain't got the money to do it right.

Snowdays with some 90 pointers: Savigny always comes through for me - my go-to value(ish) burgundy. Intense cherry profile with intriguing charcoal notes. Evolves in the glass to also show some feminine floral components. Bright but flavorful.

great burgundy, earthy bouquet, very consistent body throughout, the fruit stands in front of the alcohol throughout, taste is blackberry with a hint of leather
