Aromas showing red berry fruit. Nice floral aromas as well. Also picking up some ash, forest floor, and a stoney minerality. Flavours basically follow, throwing in some pomegranate flavours .... a little tartness to the fruit with some some underlying sweetness to the berries. Nice zippy acidity. Touch of vanilla. But not much in the way of tannins. Slightly drying but that is all. Overall you get that chalky, mineral laden Prince Edward County style.

Fresh nose of red fruited pinot - red fruit, nuanced and refreshing palate. This dances in the mouth with low alcohol and good concentration. Tannin only noticed on the finish. Will easily improve until its 10th birthday. BEST PINOT NOIR MAKER IN CANADA!

Gaining depth with air. Starting off a bit sour cherry and cranberry, but the depth came with air. By hour 2 it is singing, beef stock, celery salt, and undertones of earth notes come into focus and the fruit livens. It was light and fragile frame while supporting such nuance. The word fragile comes to mind. Weightless yet textural. I would say this is burgundian, but actually it reminds me a bit of a cross between Eola Amity and some Eyrie wines. This was lively.
Not a shock then that David Lett's note about color and depth of flavor and focus for pinot being diametrically opposed sprung to mind. Drink over the next 5.

Lovely nose of red fruit and spice; sour cherries, quite tart with fresh sweetness slipping in around the edges. This wine is pretty, very light. Must be on board for the sparse PEC style, but then very nice.
