Deep dark red --- Nose red fruit, red currant, some sour cherry, some flowery aspects, some nice mahogany notes, some violets --- Palate charming red fruit, mainly cherries, some plum, some marzipan, amarena kirsch, very nice acidity, some nutty aspects, nice sweetness, some cinnamon --- Finishes on its fruitiness and really nice tartness. A pleaser with class. Some more structure and edges and it it would be a world class crowd pleaser. It tastes like a German version of a California fresh low alcohol cuvee. I prefer this one for its freshness, clear fruit and low alcohol impression. Good alternative for new world lovers. Tasty.
22.01.2021: Just had the 2017 Tohuwabohu from the same vinery which is a level up to the Black Print. The Tohuwabohu shows more structure and edges. Definitely the better vine and my recommendation if you are looking for an excellent party vine.

Round cassis and dark cherry nose, vanilla and dark chocolate, slight acetate but not over-extracted. Full bodied lush palate of black fruits - but with a fine acid balance keeping this lively and fresh. Schneider knows his stuff, and this is another good value vintage of this brilliantly consistent wine.

N. Cherry, density, cooked, acidic fruits T. Madame:“overdone“; cherry (again) in Rum, sweetness and good acid, fat, dried berries/grapes, astringency, a bit unbalanced, sorry, Monsieur Schneider
